This extract promotes respiratory health and healing of the connective tissue. This starchy root has been used for hundreds of years by indigenous cultures in North America and ts name comes from a scar that develops on the rhizome in the fall resembling the ancient seal of King Solomon. Solomon's seal has also been used in Traditional Chinese Medicine and heals sprains and strains inflamed tendons, ligaments, muscles and joints. Additionally, it can soothe nervousness, irritation, inflammation, and distress associated with menstrual cramps, bursae, and connective tissues.
One of the constitutions in Solomon's Seal is allantoin and may counteract the inflammatory response for injuries related to the muscular-skeletal systems. Some herbalists have used Solomon's Seal for moistening of the lungs when irritated, as an expectorant and as a cardiovascular tonic.
Suggested Use: 20-40 drops (1-2 mL) in juice or water. Take 3 times per day.
