Lungwort, also known as lungwort leaf or Pulmonaria Officinalis, is a natural plant that found in native damp habitats and coastal areas in Europe, Asia, North America, and Africa. Because it’s very sensitive to environmental toxins, the areas in which it is found are typically unpolluted old forests, and thus, the presence of lungwort is often a good indicator of an ecosystem's health.
Medicinal Benefits: Lungwort has been traditionally used as a remedy against respiratory and bronchial ailments, including asthma, and coughs. Lungwort contains natural antibiotics that act against bacteria responsible for chest infections. Lungwort is also used to treat gastrointestinal and kidney problems. The allantoin may be responsible for the wound healing properties. Lungwort is used externally to treat eczema, hemorrhoids, wounds, and burns.
Suggested Use: Use Orally, 4 to 6 drops daily.
